A Quick Bite:
For a fast bite with the feel of a sit-down restaurant, we highly recommend McConkey's Jungle Shack! This kid-friendly eatery features a scavenger hunt for the young ones, a cozy tropical feel, a wide array of desserts to choose from, and even some beverages for the adults! Best of all: it's only a hop, swim, and a dive away from Edisto Beach State Park, located in the parking lot next to BiLo!

The Morning Spot:
What's breakfast without paying homage to this fossil animal that roamed, or rather, swam about Edisto during the Ice Age? The Sea Cow Eatery is perhaps CFA's favorite breakfast restaurant of all! Go on in and ask for one of everything on the menu, because it's that good! Top picks: french toast, pancakes, grits, omelettes, fried eggs...it's all magical!

The Evening Spot:
No trip to Edisto is complete without checking out Whaley's. Serving great fried seafood fare, Whaley's is one of Edisto's oldest restaurants on the front beach, and was once an old gas station on the island. Many dishes come with the choice of french fries and raw fries....Whaley's homemade potato chips! You'll always be sure to find locals and tourists alike hanging at this spot!

Fancier Fare:
Looking for something that sits a little bit above the rest? Perhaps a date night for the parents or nice dinner for the whole family? Then look no further than The Old Post Office. No, it's not the US Postal Service, although it once was! Be sure to make a reservation, as it's needed to eat here. The service, food, and atmosphere are what keeps customers coming back every year for this traditional take on Southern food!

A Quick Bite:
Looking for a little light food after your tour? Then head on over to Taco Boy, centrally located on Center Street, and within walking distance of the concluding location of the Folly Beach Adventure. Great tacos, atmosphere, drink selection, and seating area. There can be a line at times, but it's worth it!

Don't forget the leash! The Lost Dog Cafe is a staple of Folly Beach. Take time to read the fun backstory about the restaurant and its name while you wait to be seated at this popular breakfast venue. Mimosa specials, pastries, sweet, and savory fare are all served at Lost Dog Cafe; top picks from CFA are the french toast, and omelettes!

Here's another great restaurant within walking distance of our Folly Beach Adventure concluding location: Rita's. For those families looking to get seafood or another "different take on Southern fare," then Rita's should be on your list. CFA top picks are the shrimp basket, and the cobb salad.

Looking for something that the parents can enjoy? Then head on over to St. James Gate! This Irish pub on Folly has a wide variety of fun food items to try, and a classic "Irish" interior. Before you leave, you have to try their fries drizzled with a brown sugar curry sauce that is out of this world!
