What to Expect
The Natural History Museum of London, a traditional English gin distillery, gothic church ruins that inspired the novel Dracula, rolling pastoral countryside, fish and chips, a quaint seaside village, and 183 million-year-old ammonites await you on CFA's first-ever international Fossil Adventure. Enjoy a vacation unlike any other as we spend eight days traveling across England to marvel in cultural, natural, and culinary delights.
Accommodations
Guests will enjoy lodging in London at the beginning and end of the expedition, and a charming bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown Whitby for the majority of our adventure. Who's ready for traditional English breakfast?
Transportation
CFA will cover all major transportation once clients arrive in London. Automobiles in Whitby and the LNER rail from London to York are included in the ticket. (Note: Minor transportation on London's metro "the Tube" is not covered due to entry logistics.)
Team Leaders
CFA Owner, Ashby Gale, and his wife, Tabytha, will lead the expedition and provide engaging and entertaining accounts throughout the week. Learning to recognize ammonite-containing nodules on the beach requires eye training; Ashby and Tabytha will help dial your eyes in to the good nodules! (Tabytha is a pro at finding the big ones!)
