Hold the phone! This is our first pendant where we've included a precious gemstone: a ruby! Clocking in at a 9 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, rubies (and sapphires) are second only to diamonds in terms of hardness. We thought this timeless stone paired extremely well with a rear shell element from an Ice Age turtle. The bright red of the ruby is made even more stunning with the black turtle shell, and high mirror polish of the silver.
